# Honoring the Team Behind OCASA’s Educational Excellence
At OCASA, our dedicated and talented staff are the heart of our community. Their commitment to our mission and values makes OCASA a joy-filled, student-centered, and collaborative environment that inspires growth through personalized learning experiences.

## A Stable and Diverse Team
Our team is characterized by stability and diversity. The low staff turnover rate demonstrates the loyalty and satisfaction of our employees. Our staff hails from diverse backgrounds, enriching the OCASA community with various perspectives and experiences that contribute to a well-rounded educational environment for our students.
## Professional Development and Continuous Improvement
We believe in the power of continuous learning, not just for our students but also for our staff. OCASA provides strong support for professional development, encouraging participation in professional learning communities. This commitment ensures that our staff remains at the forefront of educational best practices and innovation. All of our teachers hold credentialss and many also possess advanced degrees, underscoring their dedication to excellence in education.
## Teacher Training Program
One of our proudest initiatives is our teacher training program, which welcomes resident teachers new to the profession. These resident teachers are mentored by our team of experienced educators, providing a robust support system as they transition into their teaching careers. This program not only nurtures the next generation of educators but also fosters a culture of mentorship and collaboration within our staff. This school year, each of our campuses is hosting one resident teacher.
## Joy-Filled
Our staff embodies the joy-filled spirit of OCASA by creating a positive and dynamic learning environment. They bring enthusiasm and energy to their classrooms, making learning an enjoyable experience for our students. This joy extends beyond the classroom, fostering a sense of community and belonging throughout the school.
## Student-Centered
At OCASA, every decision made by our staff centers around the needs and success of our students. Our educators take the time to understand each student's unique strengths, challenges, and aspirations, tailoring their teaching methods to provide personalized learning experiences. This student-centered approach ensures that each child receives the support and encouragement they need to thrive.
## Collaborative
Collaboration is a cornerstone of the OCASA community. Our staff works together, sharing insights, resources, and strategies to enhance the educational experience for our students. This collaborative spirit extends to our relationships with parents and the broader community, creating a network of support that benefits everyone involved.

Our staff is dedicated to inspiring growth in every student. Through innovative teaching methods, ongoing professional development, and a commitment to continuous improvement, our educators foster an environment where students are encouraged to explore, discover, and reach their full potential. This focus on growth also extends to our staff as they pursue their own professional and personal development.
