We are thrilled to announce that several talented students from OCASA were recently honored at the prestigious Festival of the Arts. This recognition is a testament to their creativity, hard work, and artistic passion. OCASA was the only charter school whose students were selected to be honored at the Festival.
Since its inception in 1947, the Junior Art Exhibit has become a celebrated highlight of the summer Festival of the Arts show. The event showcases outstanding artwork from students across Orange County, with over 200 pieces selected by renowned art authorities and displayed in the Junior Art Exhibit gallery. The Festival of Arts Junior Art Exhibit is produced with the Orange County Department of Education, underscoring its importance in the local arts community.
We are incredibly proud of our students who received top honors in their respective grade categories under the direction of OCASA's Visual Arts Teacher, Gina L'Amour. Ten students were honored at the Junior Art Exhibit. OCASA was the only charter school whose students had works included in the Junior Art Exhibit.
Their achievements highlight the exceptional talent and dedication present at OCASA. Each piece of artwork demonstrated remarkable creativity and skill, capturing the judges' attention and admiration.
