Did you know? As a nonprofit organization, Orange County Academy of Sciences and Arts is guided by a set of volunteer Board of Directors.
We are excited to introduce our newly inducted board members–Skyler Daviss and Dr. Alice Pak–who each bring years of expertise and diverse perspectives to OCASA’s leadership. Ms. Daviss and Dr. Pak joined our existing board members to guide OCASA in fostering an innovative, student-centered learning environment.

Meet Our New Board Members:


Skyler Daviss

Skyler Daviss

Managing Director, School Quality Support, California Charter Schools Association

Skyler Daviss is the Managing Director of School Quality Support and is on CCSA’s Schools team. In this role, she creates programming, tools, and resources to support charter schools in their academic growth journey from development to renewal. Previously, she has worked with education organizations such as Education Pioneers. Skyler has an MPA from the University of Colorado.

Dr. Alice Pak

Dr. Alice Pak

Educational Technology & Innovation Coordinator, Los Angeles County Office of Education

Dr. Alice Pak, a former social science teacher turned EdTech specialist, now serves as a Coordinator I in the Educational Technology & Innovation unit at the Los Angeles County Office of Education. With 15 years of experience in online learning, curriculum design, and professional training, she has a passion for integrating technology into education. Her Doctorate in Learning Technologies focuses on enhancing online engagement and exploring the effective use of EdTech tools. Dedicated to fostering digital literacy and creating dynamic learning experiences, Alice joined LACOE to provide professional development and support districts in effectively leveraging educational technology for impactful teaching and learning.
